Materials and Techniques: Cotton, pieced, quilted. Physical Description: This quilt has block of Carolina Lilies with sawtooth borders around them. The fabrics are solid red with green, yellow and red calico. Most of the lilies and three sides of the inner sawtooth border are made of the solid red fabric. The remaining flowers & one side of the sawtooth border are in the red calico. The stems and leaves are yellow calico and are machine appliqu&#233;d. The quilting in the lily block is in straight rows. the green sawtooth area has quilting with the pattern and there is also a feathered flower. The red and white inner sawtooth border looks as if it is machine sewn together but hand quilted. The outside border is quilted with an undulating feather and stars. The edging is three sides pink calico and one side red gingham & hand sewn. <br/> <br/>Description: 67 x 79 inches
